1 peter 1:3... just as the father has lavished his mercy on us through a miraculous re-birth and second chance at life. Only this time we have chosen real Life; the One who is the author of life itself. And our hope does not disappoint us for our hope is not dead but ALIVE and active, the conqueror is death itself. Our hope is sharper than a double edged sward; our hope is LOVE perfect and everlasting. It knows no fear, therefore we who hope in it also have no fear, either of death or the grave. The One in whom we hope has conquered the grave.
And what we hope for, we do not hold on to, for it is kept by our Father in heaven for us, therefore we can confidently give of ourselves to others . As we keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, God keeps us steadfast and sure by his mighty power. And this faith will not disappoint us. More precious in God’s eyes than gold: gold will eventually perish but as long as we stand firm in our faith in Christ, we will not.

1 Peter 2:5 Abba Father, as your royal priests, the sacrifice you require of us is our lives, willingly and gratefully laid down; following in the footsteps of Jesus our Great High Priest. Vs 8b -9. For many are called, but few are chosen..... THANK YOU Abba for choosing us for this purpose: that we may show forth Your praises, going forth to preach the gospel to every creature under Heaven and letting our light shine before men as the salt of the earth, the Body of our Messiah, Your Son. Vs 12b We live lives that are upright like the One who has gone before us that we may prepare the hearts of those around us for Your coming, My Lord and Savior; that they may see our good works and glorify You. As Your bond-servants, our hearts surrendered to You, our most Beloved Lord, and led by You, we can do nothing else. Vs 21-23 For many are called.... & this is our calling: that we would live a life where our wants, our needs, our very lives are laid down for for Your sake. Thank You Yeshua for loving us so passionately, so ferociously that You willingly gave up everything, to the point of total spiritual death and separation from Your Father, for us.
