Israel at the End - Day 3

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD   Day 3

Psalm 122 (Compare Revelation 20:1-6)

I was glad when they said to me,

“Let us go to the house of the LORD!”

Our feet have been standing

within your gates, O Jerusalem!

Jerusalem—built as a city

that is bound firmly together,

to which the tribes go up,

the tribes of the LORD,

as was decreed for Israel,

to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

There thrones for judgment were set,

the thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

“May they be secure who love you!

Peace be within your walls

and security within your towers!”

For my brothers and companions’ sake

I will say, “Peace be within you!”

For the sake of the house of the LORD our God,

I will seek your good.

Father thank you that under the righteous rule of your Son, tribes - and nations will once more ascend to the Hill of the Lord.

They will beat their swords into plowshares. (Isaiah 2)

They will ascend with clean hands and pure hearts. (Psalm 24:3-6)  How does one keep their hands clean and their heart pure? By not pursuing the “treasures” of this world…by not grasping them in their hands, nor coveting them in their hearts. (Exodus 20:3)

It is such as these - Jew and Gentile - who will ascend to your Hill. For you will teach them…you will rule the nations with a rod of iron (Psalm 2:6-9).

In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’” (Zechariah 8:23)

But until that great Day, preserve your Remnant Lord. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 28:9

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.”  (Isaiah 62)

“In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old,

that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name,” declares the Lord who does this.

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.

I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.

I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,”
says the Lord your God.
Amos 9:11-15

Because before the beginning of time, You O LORD, had already written the end of this story.
