Israel at the End - Day 9

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me (Moses) from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen—(Deuteronomy 18:15)

How is Moses like Jesus? -

In too many different ways for one Bible study - but this is one particular way that really struck me…

Moses…

Then the angel of God, who had been leading the people of Israel, moved to the rear of the camp. The pillar of cloud also moved from the front and stood behind them. The cloud settled between the Egyptian and Israelite camps. As darkness fell, the cloud turned to fire, lighting up the night. But the Egyptians and Israelites did not approach each other all night.

Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!

(Read Exodus ch.14)

Jesus…

Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south. You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal.

Then the Lord my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.

On that day the sources of light will no longer shine, yet there will be continuous day! Only the Lord knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.

On that day life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half toward the Mediterranean,

flowing continuously in both summer and winter.

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.

(Read Zechariah ch. 14 & Revelation ch.12)

On that day all Israel will recognize Yeshua as the Prophet like unto Moses…As they flee the terror of anti-christ, running east, through the middle of the Mt of Olives, they will remember another miraculous flight eastward, when the Lord parted the Red Sea, delivering their ancestors from Pharaoh (another type of anti-Christ). On that day, all of Israel will be saved! (Romans 11:26)
