Hebrews
1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. (John 1:1-3)
3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.
8 But of the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”
see Psalm 45:6-8
Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our[g] conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Just as with Adam and Eve in the beginning, when their eyes were opened - so also were their consciences: Through Jesus Christ, our consciences must be cleansed.
Word of faith doctrine
11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
God is all seeing - all knowing and therefore does not need faith - to do anything.
It is we who need faith - and will be rewarded for it.
2 For by it the people of old received their commendation.3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
In certain notoriously u reliable versions, they have placed a comma after the word “created”, implying that God created the universe by faith.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks.
Abel understood that the wages of sin is death, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission.
5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God
The same Faith of Abel: the Lord will provide the sacrifice to atone for sin.
7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
There is no doubt that the same sacrifices offered by Abel and Enoch were also offered by Noah: This is how he understood: Judgement was coming; and obeyed God to the letter.
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.
Just as God called Enoch and Noah out from the corruption of this world…he also separated Abraham. We too are called, not to establish roots in this temporary tent, but to be always looking and ready for his return.
11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.
So they were no reliant - not on themselves and their own abilities (as Cain was with his offering) - but on the Lord.
12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.
Because, in the midst of these descendants, the Lord can and will bring life to our dead souls and bodies
13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.
They knew the this world was not their home .
15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
No one who puts his hand to the plow…
The Lord gives us the choice.
16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.
So strong was Abraham’s faith in the Lord’s faithfulness - to do as he said he would.
20-22 This promise of Hope and Salvation, was passed from generation to generation…by Faith.
26 He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.
…even before Moses knew the Christ, as being “The Christ”
27 By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.
Moses had already seen the “image of the invisible God”
28 By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.
Just like Abel, he is honoring the Sacrifice of the Christ, before he has been offered up: Faith. This is a picture of us today: The Destroyer; the accuser of the brethren has no access to us or right over us, because of the blood of Christ.
29 By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.
Faith in what?
In the Lord and His Promise…culminating with the One Sacrifice of the Messiah.
