Psalm 91

 Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

But according to the Psalmist, before we can do that, we must first recognize this.....

vs1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

We, therefore must find the courage, the resolve, to draw ourselves entirely into God-who is the only Safe Place; no hiding, confessing all, forsaking all: placing the deepest crevices of our hearts in His Hands and throwing our entire lives onto His Mercy; to crucify our own lives, that we may be resurrected into His. To trust The Lord like this-with everything-is true intimacy...to know Him and be known by Him: It is an enormous privilege, that only those redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb have been given. It is as we begin to live our lives this Way, that He promises we will...

“tread upon the lion and the adder”...

We will...

“trample the great lion and the dragon under foot...”Psalm91:13.

And, in Mark16:17-18 Jesus clarifies this: “These signs shall follow them that BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.

Following Jesus 101:

Jesus, I surrender all to You;

Jesus, I trust You...with it all.
