Your Word is a Lamp....

 A Psalm of David. 27 The Lord is my light and my salvation (Acts4:12); Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; (Psalm91:1) Of whom shall I be afraid?  2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell....(because: see vs1) 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; (Luke12:4-5) Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. (Col3:3-4) 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me;(Ex33:21-22) He shall set me high upon a rock. ✝️ (1Cor10:4) 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.(Rev19:1-10) 7

 Spirit of Elijah...or spirit of deception?        Revelation 13:11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people … ***And - if we are still here during the tribulation period - this sign, in particular poses a real threat of deception to the Church...to those of us who are not watching and praying. Why?... Because this is exactly the type of sign that certain branches of the charismatic movement are looking for: See 1Kings 18 *** Cont. vs14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth....”Watch out the no one deceives you...”Jesus- (read Matt24:4,11) Signs and wonders

 Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. But according to the Psalmist, before we can do that, we must first recognize this..... vs1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” We, therefore must find the courage, the resolve, to draw ourselves entirely into God-who is the only Safe Place; no hiding, confessing all, forsaking all: placing the deepest crevices of our hearts in His Hands and throwing our entire lives onto His Mercy; to crucify our own lives, that we may be resurrected into His. To trust The Lord like this-with everything-is true intimacy...to know Him and be known by Him: It is an enormous privilege, that only those redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb have been given. It is as we begin to live our lives this Way, that He promises we will... “tread upon the

 Matt 7:13-14:  The Narrow Way does not mean that God desires to save only a few (2Peter3:9 tells us the complete opposite -and Yeshua is Salvation) but that, in entering in and walking in this Way, there is only room for two: You and God. Everything and everyone else has to be surrendered - and this is why so few find (or want) this Way. The choice is ours!🙏🙏🙏God help us make the right one. Exodus 20;3; Matt 6:19-20

 Psalm 107:20 He sent His word (John1:1) and healed them, and saved them from their destruction...And by His blood we are healed. (Is53:5)

 Psalm 37 A psalm of David. His answer to the psalmist of 73 1 Don’t worry about the wicked     or envy those who do wrong. (Psalm73:3) 2 For like grass, they soon fade away.     Like spring flowers, they soon wither. (Isaiah40:6-8; 41:11-12) 3 Trust in the Lord and do good.     Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. 4 Take delight in the Lord,     and he will give you your heart’s desires. *Because when we willingly surrender to God’s Will, He changes our hearts AND their desires (Psalm73:7 - but: Ezekiel36:26; Jeremiah31:33)* 5 Commit everything you do to the Lord.     Trust him, and he will help you. (Prov.3:5) 6 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,     and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. 7 Be still in the presence of the Lord,     and wait patiently for him to act. (Psalm27:14) Don’t worry about evil people who prosper     or fret about their wicked schemes. 8 Stop being angry!     Turn from your rage! (Psalm73:21-22) Do not lose

  Psalm91 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.... That is, as long as we are....Dwelling in the SECRET PLACE of the Most High; What does this mean? That we need to stop hiding from Him (Gen3:7-10); and trust Him enough to start hiding in Him (Ps.32; John6:29-58)....then, as promised, we will find REST in the shadow of the Almighty.

 Psalm 73 A psalm of Asaph. (Compare with Psalm37) 1 Truly God is good to Israel,     to those whose hearts are pure. 2 But as for me, I almost lost my footing.     My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone. 3 For I envied the proud     when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. (Psalm 37:1; Prov3:31-32) 4 They seem to live such painless lives;     their bodies are so healthy and strong. 5 They don’t have troubles like other people;     they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else. 6 They wear pride like a jeweled necklace     and clothe themselves with cruelty. 7 These fat cats have everything     their hearts could ever wish for! *But remember: Jeremiah17:9: This is why we MUST surrender our hearts to God - psalm37:4* 8 They scoff and speak only evil;     in their pride they seek to crush others. 9 They boast against the very heavens,     and their words strut throughout the earth. 10 And so the people are dismayed and confused,     drinking in all their words. *And

1Peter5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 To him be the dominion forever and ever. The things you are proud of,           and the things that you hide:                    Can you trust these to Me, with your heart open wide? "Are you willing to place My Will above all,     Luke 22:42 Even when it makes you feel so small? For some things that you value,                 when given up to My cross, - things once thought as gain, you will now see as loss.  Philippians 3:3-8 "Will you come to My Table to enter My Rest -    Hebrews 4:3,   Matt. 11:28-30 Can you drink of My blood and eat of My flesh?                    For

 Pentecost vs Babel United in Christ vs united under Anti-christ  In this hour more than ever before, we can see two opposing forces at work: Satan’s desire is for mankind to become one under him (his servant Anti-christ) leading to the destruction of the nations (Rev 14:9-11; 12:12; 18:1-24) Directly opposing this, Jesus’s desire is for His Church to become one under Him, leading to salvation and the healing of the nations. (2Peter 3:7-9; Rev. 22:1-2) In Genesis 11:1-9 God confuses the people because they strove for earthly wisdom, worldly unity and to glory in the works of themselves (man)....(See Matthew 24:1-2) In Acts 2:1-12, God unravels this confusion in a very miraculous and beautiful way, that the people might understand and glory only in Him....(See John 2:19-21). Through humanity’s weakness and confusion we see God bringing His strength and unity. At Babel, through tongues He Scattered; At Pentecost, through tongues He re-gathered. So in Acts 2 we see the Lord perform a type

 Leviticus 17:11   2Corinthians 5:21   John 3:14.... Even when you became SIN for us Lord,  You still had to be lifted UP for us.... So that Your Blood (which is life) could flow DOWN to us.  (Psalm 139:7-19) #FollowingJesus

  In the fullness of time  a seed was planted from the royal line of David, through the Holy Spirit, into the womb of Mary. (Genesis 3:15) Its purpose - to destroy the works of satan. (1John 3:8) Right on time , Joseph, in obedience to Heavenly orders as well as earthly ones, traveled with Mary to Bethlehem in Judea. (Luke 2:1-7) In the fullness of time , Jesus/Yeshua  (meaning “The Lord is Salvation”) was born in Bethlehem, the City of David (Micah 5:2, Jeremiah 33:14-15) In the nick of time,  Joseph, in obedience to God, took Mary and Jesus and fled to Egypt to escape the sword of Herod (Hosea 11:1). In the fullness of time  Joseph brought his family back from Egypt to settle in Nazareth (Isaiah 53:2) Right on time , the Holy Spirit sent His prophet John to call for a baptism of repentance, to prepare the hearts of the people for the soon coming Messiah (Malachi 3:1, Isaiah 40:3). In the fullness of time , Jesus Himself came down to be baptized by John, thereby uniting Himself (God)

So how do we fully receive these promises? The answer is in vs 1: “He who dwells in the secret protection of the Most High, WILL find Rest in the shadow of the Almighty. (Ex33:13-22). We, therefore must have courage enough to draw near with our WHOLE hearts and surrender ALL to Him. To know The LORD in the secret place requires that the secret places of our hearts be surrendered entirely over to Him...to know Him and be known by Him...not to make us tingle or give us some kind of
