Israel at the End - Concluding Remarks

Image
This is a conclusion to my 12 day study on Israel in the end times. Let the reader understand before continuing, that the following is some of my conclusions on this matter, based on limited scholarly knowledge and training. Many who are more learned will have different conclusions…more detailed information. I recommend the reader do the research. I hope I have at least “wetted your appetite” to take a deeper dive into the Bible and search out the matter for yourself. This was my aim and my purpose. (Proverbs 25:2) Revelation 20:1-10 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain.  2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,  3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. 4 Then I saw throne

For Day 11 please see: http://sarahshalom777.blogspot.com/2021/06/reference-read-daniel-ch-101-21.html                                   ~~~~~~~ Behold the sovereign mercy of the Lord Day 12 Psalm 118 1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! 2 Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” 3 Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” 4 Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Such will be the testimony of the nation of Israel, when in Revelation 19, at the end of the final “week” (7 years) of Daniel 9:24, Yeshua hamashiach (Jesus Christ) rides out from Heaven to once and for all, liberate the Earth and be received by His chosen people… vs.5 Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. Here is where Israel will finally see and understand… vs.6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? 7 The Lord is on my side as my helper; I s

Written 06/22/2021 Behold the sovereign mercy of the Lord  Day 10 Israel and America in the end days:  We made an alliance with Israel, in the form of an agreement, to support and cover her as a nation for as long as needed.  But the Bible tells us that this agreement has an expiration date…how do we know? Because in the end days we read that there will be no nation on the planet that can or will stand with  Israel against her enemies: Her help is going to come from the LORD God Almighty and Him alone (Psalm121:1-2) When this begins to happen…when we see the protection begin to lift from Israel…when we begin to see her enemies closing in, we know that Israel’s 70th week/the 7 year tribulation spoken of by Daniel is almost upon us {Read Daniel 9:20-27}… This is Israel’s spiritual Yom Kippur…where many in Israel will be purified, cleansed and refined (Daniel 12:10), and where Israel must - and will - recognize the Atonement of Messiah, and get themselves right with God (Daniel 9:24). We

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me (Moses) from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen—(Deuteronomy 18:15) How is Moses like Jesus? -  In too many different ways for one Bible study - but this is one particular way that really struck me… Moses… Then the angel of God, who had been leading the people of Israel, moved to the rear of the camp. The pillar of cloud also moved from the front and stood behind them. The cloud settled between the Egyptian and Israelite camps. As darkness fell, the cloud turned to fire, lighting up the night. But the Egyptians and Israelites did not approach each other all night. Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side! (Read Exodus ch.1

Behold the sovereign mercy of the Lord Day 8 Reading: Isaiah 41 {The Lord’s promise to help Israel} I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. 5 The coastlands have seen and are afraid; the ends of the earth tremble; they have drawn near and come. 6 Everyone helps his neighbor and says to his brother, “Be strong!” 7 The craftsman strengthens the goldsmith,    and he who smooths with the hammer him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good”; and they strengthen it with nails so that it cannot be moved. 8 But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; 9 you whom I took from the ends of the earth,    and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”; 10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 11 Behold, all who are incensed against you    sha

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD  Day 7 Psalm 96  “Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth! Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.” Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD…Day 6 Matthew 23:37-39 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!  See, your house is left to you desolate. {Matthew 24:15} For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ ” There is a designated time set by the Lord for the redemption of nation of Israel…but it is not yet. {See Matthew 24:6-8} - And here at the beginning of birth pangs, our prayers must be cries of “mercy”  - for Salvation for the individual, Jew and Gentile. The Lord will chasten his people because of their idolatry, their apostasy and their rejection of His Son Messiah {Matthew 27:24-25}: Firstly at the sacking of Jerusalem in AD 70; again through the time of great trouble spoken of in Jeremiah ch. 30 & Matthew 24:15-22. But this chastisem

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD… Day 5 Isaiah 54 (Forgiveness - The future glory of Zion & an eternal covenant of Shalom with His People Israel) “Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the LORD. {See Psalm 87:4-6 & Revelation ch.7 - Salvation to the nations of the world} “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities. {See also Psalm 87:4-6 & Isaiah 2:2} “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.  Behold the Sovereign Mercy of the LORD Day 4 Psalm 87 (Compare with Revelation 20:1-6) On the holy mount stands the city he founded; the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God.  Selah Among those who know me I mention Rahab (Egypt) and Babylon (Iraq); behold, Philistia (Palestine & Gaza) and Tyre, with Cush (Ethiopia & other “distant peoples”) — “This one was born there,” they say. And of Zion it shall be said,  “This one and that one were born in her”;  for the Most High himself will establish her. The Lord records as he registers the peoples,  “This one was born there.” Selah Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.” Here the Lord promises, that even among the enemies who surround Israel, there will be a Remnant who know Him. And as for the rest of us (those of “distant lands”) - if we are saved - if we profess Yeshua as our Savior, then we can count ourselves as a part of th

Behold the sovereign mercy of the LORD   Day 3 Psalm 122 (Compare Revelation 20:1-6) I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem—built as a city that is bound firmly together, to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good. Father thank you that under the righteous rule of your Son, tribes - and nations will once more ascend to the Hill of the Lord.  They will beat their swords into plowshares. (Isaiah 2)  They will ascend with clean hands and pure hearts. (Psalm 24:3-6)  How does one k
